Hi, my name is Mark Passmore and a resident of OR for 42 years. I enjoy our Natural Resources and believe thet are our greatest assets and worth protecting and to be managed properly. I oppose any revision to policies for consideration and management of wilderness on public lands that would weaken protections for Wilderness Areas, Wilderness Study Areas, Lands with Wilderness Characteristics, or recommended, proposed, and eligible wilderness. I recommend that any revisions to the BLM’s Manual: Mandate the preservation of finite and irreplaceable wildlands Emphasize how wilderness preservation also conserves wildlife habitat Require accurate information and science-based management Preserve the public’s role in wildlands management Thank you for your time to review/ to note my comments! Sincerely, Mark Passmore 503-330-5841 markpassmore@mindspring.com
