I am a US citizen in Oregon. I oppose any revision to policies for consideration and management of wilderness on public lands that would weaken protections for Wilderness Areas, Wilderness Study Areas, Lands with Wilderness Characteristics, or recommended, proposed, and eligible wilderness. I recommend that any revisions to the BLM’s Manual: Mandate the preservation of finite and irreplaceable wildlands; Emphasize how wilderness preservation also conserves wildlife habitat; Require accurate information and science-based management; Preserve the public’s role in wildlands management; Reduce to the point of complete removal of any cattle, cows, livestock. Those animals should be raised on private land since they are privately owned animals. Their destruction of wilderness is really bad, on both land & water (rivers & lakes); I see this all the time in my frequent visits to public lands. Thank you.
