Summary: A Colorado citizen opposes the proposed rule, arguing that it prioritizes the interests of extractive industries over the public good and the preservation of public land values. The commenter claims the rule is shortsighted and would negatively impact the state's economy and quality of life.
Please do not finalize this proposed rule! I write as a citizen of the State of Colorado, where all parties work together for the best use of public lands. Consideration of the interests of all parties are part of my state's process. This proposed rule would run roughshod over our fair and effective processes, and reduce the many incredible values of our public lands to benefit only extractive industries. Our public lands were never meant to be given away for private profit at the expense of all others. An Administration that would pass such a terrible rule obviously does not care about the greater impact to our state's economy or our quality of life. This rule makes no sense. It is shortsighted, stupid, and downright mean.
