My name is Matthew Dewees, President of Carbon Sales, Inc. We are a Pennsylvania corporation located in the anthracite fields of Pennsylvania. We refine and supply anthracite coal for the municipal and industrial water filtration industry. There are 3 other companies in the United States that produce the same product for that market. The anthracite we manufacture is critical to the nation's drinking water supply, and advanced sewage treatment prior to release into the waterways. It is used in every city and almost every town in the country. We rely solely on the supply of high quality Pennsylvania anthracite to manufacture this critical product. Reliance on Russia, Peru or some other foreign entity for the security of our Nation's drinking water supply would be catastrophic.
