Hello, I am a former police officer, current NRA instructor, hunter, concealed carry permit holder, and competitive shooter. I strongly support the proposed change, as it brings the definitions covering mental health into line with modern understandings. An illness can be treated, and someone who is not actively a threat should not be denied their rights.
