Summary: The commenter supports the investigative bureau's action to clarify the meanings of the Brady Act. They argue that the state of California allows ineligible individuals to possess firearms and work in law enforcement, which they believe violates federal law.
Considering that the state of California allows individuals otherwise federally ineligible to possess a firearm and employ with state, county, and/or municipal law enforcement authorities, which I suspect is a criminal violation of the United States Code because convicted individuals are prohibited from possessing firearms, I concur with the investigative bureau to clarify the meanings of the Act.
Moreover, otherwise federally ineligible persons possessing firearms employing with state, county, and/or municipal authorities as law enforcement officers should be construed as combatants against Citizens of the United States and in violation of 18 USC 241 and 18 USC 242.
