Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that the Brady Act is a blatant infringement on the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. They contend that the government lacks the authority to pass laws interfering with this inherent right.
#2 of the original 10 Amendments is the Right to keep and bear Arms. That said, what other Amendment in all of the Amendments is there a dedicated Bureau organized to directly regulate that RIGHT? The Right was not 'created' by the Government. The Right EXISTS independent of government. Congress has no authority to pass laws interfering with a Right - none. What should the punishment be to those who would infringe Rights? The so-called 'Brady Act' is a blatant infringement, plain and simple . . . You must first collect and classify information in order to discriminate.
